The School Day

The school day starts at 08:45. This means children need to be in school BEFORE 08:45 in order to make the most of their learning. School gates open at 08:30, so there is NO EXCUSE for lateness. This damages your child’s learning and that of other children.

Carol Concert and Farewell

On Tuesday 13th, we had a beautiful Christmas carol concert. As well as all the songs that children had been practising during their music lessons, Year 5 and May Waston also treated us to their own compositions as a farewell to our much loved and long serving music teacher, Jane Morgan. Jane will be leaving us at the end of this term to take a well earned rest of a long and illustrious teaching career, before possibly seeking some stardom of her own. We wish her well and look forward to seeing her name in lights.

Lights, Camel Action

Giving us  talent show take on the Nativity story, Nursery, Reception and Key Stage One children raised the roof in a fantastic Christmas show. I imagine there will be a lot of dancing camels in people’s houses over the next few weeks. If you missed the show, or would like to share the show with relative, video copies will be available on CD from mid January. Well done to all children and staff for an excellent performance and plenty of jolly japes.
