The School Day

Please remember that the school gate is open from 08:30. You can bring children in from 08:30 which gives you a better chance of being on time for school. If you aim to arrive at 08:45, your child will probably be late for school.

The Summer Term

While it is a little grey today, the rest of this week has seen some sun and gradually increasing temperatures. Please remember, during the summer, that children will need extra water, lighter clothes and even sun hats for play time on hotter days. All children should also wear sun cream on trip days. We are looking forward to spending lots of time outdoors as we extend the curriculum for every year group from nursery up to Y6.

School Playground After School

We would like to re-open use of the playground after school for all children. Please remember to directly supervise your child at all times—this means being in the same part of the playground as them, simply being on a bench while they play somewhere else is not sufficient. We would like to share our facilities with all families, but we rely on you to use them responsibly and accept responsibility for the actions of your children outside the school day. Please remember that teachers and other staff are still working long after children leave classes, so screaming children should be encouraged to play a little more quietly where possible. It would also be helpful if children is kept outside and not be allowed to re-enter into the main building , as this disturbs staff from working.
